Newborn’s First Visit
If our office is unable to verify or confirm your child’s coverage, we will require a deposit of at least $160.00. A full refund will be credited to your account or refunded as soon as we receive confirmation from your insurance provider that child is current and effective on the date of service.
Please note that it may take up to a month for newborns to be officially added to the insurance.
Office Policies on Deductibles
Most insurance plans have deductibles for office visits and/or procedures. Many have HSA /FSA accounts which are used to pay for the deductible. Please note that we will collect a deposit which is posted on account awaiting the submission and reprocessing of the claims.
Vision & Hearing Screenings
Not all insurance plans cover vision and hearing screenings, so we do not automatically do vision and hearing with a well check unless you ask. We can usually call and verify your benefits, but it’s always a good idea to know your plan.
We take most private insurance plans as well as some of the plans on the health exchange. We are currently unable to accept new Medicaid (STAR/CHIP) plans at this time. We also see self-pay patients.
Some of the insurance plans we accept: United HealthCare, Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO Plans, Blue Cross Blue Shield HMO Blue, Seton Employee Health Plan, Scott and White Health Plan, Cigna, Aetna. We are not allowed to see patients under the age of 18 without their parent or legal guardian present. If you are unable to bring your child to his or her appointment, we are happy to see them with a friend or other relative, but you must give them written permission to bring your child to the doctor. You can either hand write a quick note or fill out one of the forms on the “Forms” page or use the Medical Consent form on our portal.

(closed for lunch 12pm – 1pm)
Saturday 8:00am – 12pm
